Shop Review - ziggicig
On a bustling Ballymoney street in Ballymena you will find the Ballymena store of Ziggi Cig.
From the outside the shop has a nice clean and new finish to it, with a large glass window with posters on it, nothing to show the goodies inside. A display cabinet may help here.
Step inside and there wasn't a member of staff at the counter (think they where out back), when they did appear it was a dry "Are you ok?"
The shop has a feel of a doctors surgery about it, clean and clinical, but not very welcoming.
A nice range of mods in the glass display cabinets, they layout is pleasing to the eye. The prices are on par with other shops in the area, but made to look cheaper by knocking off 5p from the round pound. (nice sales ploy)
On approach to the till area the member of staff didn't try to engage in finding out what sort of juice/if any I was after. The juices are on shelves behind the counter so hard to see what they have, but there seemed to good range.
Made enquiries about a couple of drippers and was shown the workings of the springer X, again no questions to find out if I was experienced, with drippers or what I was looking for.
It was very nice to see a range of self build equipment, wire, cotton and drippers, not much of this in other shops in Ballymena.
Overall a shop that I would visit if in need of wire or tools for self building and if I knew exactly what juice I needed but would be in and out.
I am not affiliated to connected to any shop/juice maker/vendor.
My views are how as I find the shop at the time or through multiple visits.
